2FaCeD Face Soap
Soaps that Save | Humane Treatment of Marine Mammals
2FaCeD is a striking, purpose-driven face soap created to support the humane treatment, care, and protection of marine mammals. Bold in both design and meaning, this bar is a visual and ethical statement — one that calls for honesty, accountability, and compassion in how marine life is treated.
A Purposeful Facial Bar
2FaCeD is formulated specifically for facial use — designed to cleanse deeply without stripping the skin. Crafted with olive oil, coconut oil, kokum butter, shea butter, apricot kernel oil, and castor oil, this bar is firm, long-lasting, and balanced for everyday facial cleansing.
Activated charcoal helps draw out impurities, while sea clay supports a clean, mineral-rich wash. The result is a face soap that feels clarifying, comfortable, and intentional.
Design & Symbolism
The black-and-white swirl isn’t just beautiful — it’s the message.
Activated charcoal creates one half of the soap black, while sea clay creates the other half white. The two are swirled together like the unmistakable markings of an orca — and to symbolize the “two-faced” narrative that once framed captivity as rescue while hiding exploitation behind the scenes.
No two bars are identical, just as no two life stories are identical. Each bar carries the same purpose.
Soaps That Save
2FaCeD is part of the Soaps that Save collection by Serendipity Scents & Soaps. A portion of every bar sold is donated to organizations dedicated to the humane treatment, care, and release of cetaceans and other marine mammals — including orcas and dolphins — and to broader efforts that protect marine mammals who belong in the sea, not behind glass.
For decades, the public was presented with a comforting story: that captive orcas, dolphins, seals, and other marine mammals were rescued, orphaned, or too sick to survive in the wild. Over time, it became clear that many of these animals were healthy when taken — captured from their families and natural homes for entertainment and profit.
The name 2FaCeD reflects that deception.
Inspired by the life and tragic death of the orca Tilikum, and the truths revealed through the documentary Blackfish, this soap exists as both remembrance and reckoning — a reminder that truth matters, and that awareness can lead to change.
